I'm new to this so apologies if there's some mumsnet etiquette I'm disregarding!
I am hosting a baby shower in a months time for a very good friend of mine. She lives in Walthamstow so ideally somewhere local or near by will be good as she would be almost 8 months by then!
As I'm not local to the area or have kids, I'd appreciate the collective knowledge of the lovely Walthamstow residents on a good place to do this?
I'm thinking a nice bright cafe which will allow us to reserve an area for approx 20 people? Catering is a bonus, otherwise I can arrange for something separately. I'd like to be able to bring my own party decorations and have people socialize, so a restaurant probably won't be a good idea unless they section off an area for us.
