We need help please!! :)

We are a small and socially responsible tutoring agency. We are in our infancy and desperately want to speak to parents in order that they can help us shape our offerings to suit their needs and those of their children.

At Tutorfair we want to make tutoring better ? much better ? by providing tutoring for free for those who can't afford to pay for it every time we book/provide tutoring for those who can afford to pay. Check out our short video (made by one of our tutors) for an explanation of what we do.

We need to speak to parents and get their feedback. We'd LOVE to speak to London based bloggers (currently our service is only available in London) and have them review us. As an incentive we'd offer a tutoring session for the child or one cycle of a program with our Educational Consultant, Stephanie Satariano, called 'Video Interaction Guidance' which is used to enhance positive attunement and interactions between parent and child.

We would love to hear from you if you'd be interested in finding out more about what we do.

When looking for a tutor, there are several factors to consider, to ensure you are enlisting the right help for you, and are choosing the most appropriate course of action for your child.

  1. Why does my child need tutoring and what do we hope to gain from it?
  2. Which subjects does my child really need tutoring in?
  3. How many hours a week does my child realistically need in tutoring?
  4. How to find the right tutor for my child? Does this tutor fully match my child’s educational needs? Does the tutor’s methodology suit my child’s study habits?
  5. What materials / textbooks will my child need for the tuition?

Carfax Private Tutors understands these questions, as well as understanding all too well the big step parents take in committing to a private tutor. Whether with an agency or finding a tutor independently, it is important to consider the above-listed questions and to decide how to go about tutoring in the most 'responsible' manner to ensure effective results.
