Hi, I was hoping to place my DD in one of the above but just wanted confirmation that there is no problem with bullying, I have heard nothing but good regarding both schools however thought best to check. Thank you.

Personally I've never heard anything, even on this forum not seen Any posts regarding bullying at the above shools. I have friends with children in both schools and both are happy as far as I
Know :)

Ditto what Eman83 said - my children go to one of the schools you've asked about and we've never had any problems with bullying. And any "niggles" have been dealt with quickly. Have friends with children at the other school and they've not had any concerns either.

I think you need to realise that there is bullying to some degree in every school. Yes, it's sometimes dealt with better in some schools but it always exists. I also know it is worse in single sex schools. I am a teacher with 20 years experience in both state and private schools.

Absolutely pinkclouds333, I totally agree and thank you for your comments. I'm not being too precious honestly, quite the opposite I'm very much the realist regarding all the anthrapological delights of school, private or otherwise. It's just a question of damage limitation (!) and living in Edinburgh talk about all schools is frankly unavoidable given the concentration of private education and (in my experience) the very high standards of state schools.
