I have a daughter who is 18 months, we often hang out in Victoria Park or the Farm which is great but it would even better if we knew some other mums with young children to hang out with. I work part time but Tuesdays and Thursdays are good for us

Hi have you tried going to bubba hub on north street? They have a Facebook page and activities for mums and babies. :)

Thanks Misspilly, yes I have tried bubba hub and I agree it is a really good local cafe for Mums and Babies.

Hi Maggie2012, I live in Emersons Green, don't know how far that is from you but I can always meet in town if you'd like? I've got a 10 month old little boy, almost 11 months actually... don't know where the time goes :(:(

if you're still interested in meeting other mums let me know :)

Hi - I live in Totterdown, just the other side of the park. Have a nearly 5 yr old and a 17 month old. Both boys! Also work part time but Thurs good. Getting into the swing of taking older one to school so may have time (finally) to do stuff with toddler. Can you PM me if you fancy a coffee at Mrs Browns or similar (don't know if it works on local but i've the same name on main site).

I have only just joined this site and I'm still grappling with the different ways to message so please bare with me!

Hi Cliona

Thanks for getting in touch. Do you ever try out the play spaces in town like Portico or Kudican ? They are both near the Gloucester Rd. That might be a good place to meet up. They both sell good coffee! And cake...

What do you think.

rhyme time at the library is a good place to meet other parents... round bs3 there's one at bedminster library on tuesday and thursday at 10.30am and at marksbury road library on friday at 10.45am. you'll usually find me at one of them :-)

also for local people generally and if you're on facebook, here is a good page
