Hi all,

We have had a flat in Glasgow rented for a long time. It needs a new kitchen - just to refresh it. I'd be really grateful of any suggestions for places to buy kitchens in and around Glasgow. We aren't looking anything expensive - just a plain white smallish kitchen??

Can any diy-ers or knowledgeable Glasgow-ers help?

Also looking to get some more furniture - probably just an armchair/tub chair type thing for the sitting room and maybe some other bits when we see it again. Any furniture warehouses etc?

Why are you buying a kitchen if you are renting ? SHould the Landlord not pay for it , and possibly choose it. Probably bets to try B&Q , Homebase and Wickes.

No no I meant we owe the flat. It has been rented up to now.

How about gumtree for furniture holidays?
I'm going to be boring and suggest Ikea for the kitchen, but have tweeted and shared your question so hopefully more suggestions will be along. Good luck!
