New Aldi proposed in Lochee - What products are really great in Aldi?

Did you all read about the new Aldi store proposed in the Stack Leisure Park in Lochee?

I must admit to being excited about this, cause DH is German so we love the German specialities that we can get, but rarely take the trip over to the Arbroath Rd store. We buy quite a few things in Lidl - in fact his weekend ritual is to get the 'proper German rolls' for breakfast.

If you shop in Aldi, what can you recommend? Their products are a bit different here in Scotland, I think.

Watching this thread with interest, we live closer to a Lidl so always pop in there, especially since the Dura Street branch got an instore bakery. Aldi had a scottish beer/lager/ale festival recently but I kept forgetting to pop in, as I never drive past it. Although its close to Majestic Wines and I always make time to visit their...

i love their giant salted pretzels they bake instore. They are amazing.

Actually that could be Lidls now that i think about it Blush We have a lidls and aldis along the road from each other and i always get them confused!

Lidl have the Brezels, not sure about Aldi. I buy them for the kids a lot, they are yummy.
