Moving to salisbury - areas to look at and where to avoid!

Morning!

Like many others, we are making the move to Salisbury. We are currently in Hampshire near petersfield in a small village on the outskirts with an infant and junior school, park, several pre- schools, pubs and a few local shops (Tesco express, paper shop, card shop and endless charity shops!)

Where just outside salisbury in the suburbs will I find
Something similar?

Also which areas (in your opinion) should I avoid?

I have 3 children aged 1.5, 3.5 and 5. Their safety and surroundings are my highest priority!

Really appreciate any advice you have!

Avoid Bemerton Heath.

Lower Bemerton is lovely.
Harnham is nice but busy, and quite expensive.
Fugglestone Red is quiet and cheaper and on the north side of the city.
Bishopdown Farm is a very family area but houses are at a premium and the London Road can be busy.
Generally all of Salisbury is very safe and bar Bemerton Heath, I'd live anywhere.
