calling all new mum's in Teignmouth or nearby!

Hi there. Im a brand new mum, my bubba was born on the 25th June 2013. Whilst Im still scared to leave the flat with him on my own (he's just sooooo small!! :-) ) i would really like to get in contact with others in my town of Teignmouth or newton abbot area (i don't drive) to just air worries and have friends to just chat with about baby and non baby related stuff and to know we are not on our own on this scary exciting ride called motherhood. Hope to hear from you who ever you are :-):-) Carrie Xxx

Hello Carrie! I'm very close by, although mine are 10 and 3 I remember the early days well. I think a Teignmouth meet-up is in order! I'll set one up and get in touch with you about a lift. x

Hiya Ciderpunk!!! That would be fantastic!! I live in the town center of Teignmouth so getting together in the town or by the beach or anywhere, lol, would be fabulous! Im a bit clueless when it comes to newborns, much more comfortable with older babies, so an experienced mummys perspective on things would be fabulous plus getting out of the flat for a bit would be great. Looking forward to meeting up. X

I'm just over the water from you in Shaldon. I have a baby girl, born on 1st July, so around the same age as your baby. I also have a 2year old. I'd love to meet up!

cari1979 don't know if you've signed up to the Teignbridge meet-ups page yet, but a few of us are meeting at the seafront swings this Friday morning at 10am - hopefully should still be fairly cool at that time of the morning. I will be wearing a blue & white stripey sun hat! Hope to see you then but I know things can change at the last minute with a very small baby, so no pressure!

Hiya eggflipped!!! That would be great to meet up! I've just started venturing out this week and being brave today and going out when i know a feed will be due.....ooooo risky lol. When ever you feel like getting out , as its still early days, maybe a buggy walk and a cuppa in a coffee shop? We shall have to exchange Facebook info or mob numbers. Let me know what you think x

I've just seen your post and wondered if you would still be interested in meeting another mummy with a little one!
My daughter was born in Sept 13 so not that much younger than your little boy. We are in the process of arranging a move to Newton Abbot in May/June, and would love to meet some new friends in the area
