New to Bristol with a family where would you live?

We are new to Bristol with a young family (3 kids under 5) and trying to find a place to live. We don't want to live really close to the city centre but not too far out either. Hubby works at Aztec West so needs to be convenient for him. Would like good public primary school, close to leisure centre and play group. We will be renting.

I would look at Bradley Stoke, Stoke Gifford area which is very close to Aztec West. Good primary schools, and outstanding rated secondary in Bradley Stoke. Lots of play groups, leisure centre, library and lots of sports clubs, groups such as brownies, cubs etc. Local shops you can walk to, plus cribbs Causeway shops a 5 min drive. About 6 miles from central Bristol.

Portishead, I live here and work near AW and the traffic is not as bad as everyone makes out :)

Emersons Green, it's convenient for your hubby's work and a really nice family orientated area with excellent schools.

We moved here in 2012 when I was pregnant, and since having our little boy in Oct last year we decided to by a house we love it here so much. xx
