Hi, I'm in the process of making a move to the Whitchurch area of Bristol with DH and 4 children and would love to know what locals think of the primary schools in the area. I'm considering Burnbush Primary, Bridge Farm Primary, Waycroft Academy and Whitchurch Primary.

All thoughts on these schools and suggestions of others in the area would be greatly appreciated.

Slightly out of my area, but I do have several RL friends with dcs at Bridge Farm primary which has a very recent outstanding OFSTED report and is located in a residential area. They have recently expanded the reception intake to accommodate an extra reception class. They are very happy with the school.
Whitchurch primary is officially in BANES LEA, rather than Bristol but this shouldn't cause a problem if you live close enough. It's located on the main A37 road though, which may be a problem if you want to take them to school by car.
Other possibilities in Whitchurch are St Bernadettes primary (Catholic) and some children go to West Torn Lane Academy which is Brislington and has also recently expanded to a 3 form entry in reception.
