I was just wondering whether there is anyone here who might be interested in starting up a book club or sewing club around Whitley Bay.
I was thinking along the lines of a sewing club where people of all abilities could get together about once a month in each other's houses and have a chat on what they're working on and basically just providing encouragement and moral support. I can't sew but I thought something like this might give me the kick I need to start learning.
Or a book club. Just a chat and a glass of wine. Generally a chat about a book rather than a deep and lengthy analysis. I generally read at bedtime and I struggle to be able to analyse any book in depth at that time!
