I need a hairdresser good at layering medium-lond hair. Any suggestions?

I have tried expensive hairdressers many times before at the time when they were still affordable. Now I would like to find a great hairdresser for less than £40.00. I like layers and I like when the ends of the hair are cut at the angle not just chopped straight which make hair look like it had beed cut by an amateur. I remember once I visited one hairdresser in the city centre and she spent like 10 min cutting my hair but charging a lot of money. I thought it was cheating. That was my 1st and last visit.

try Aura on Cherry Hinton Road. I've been using them for years and they are excellent. All of the stylists are good but Marcelle is the best (but probably most expensive). I switched to Hayley recently (cheaper) and haven't noticed a difference in the quality of my haircut as she was trained by Marcelle. Don't expect much chat though - Hayley is very quiet!

Matt at Philip Helliar on Benet Street is brilliant at this. I have a dry cut for about £32. I have been going to him for about 10 years, having originally asked two friends with good layers who cut their hair.
