Nice villages within cycling distance of Headington?

Hello,
We were looking to move to S. Oxon. in the summer to be near Didcot station but actually maybe we should ditch the commute and just try and live near Headington where DH will be working?! I love Headington but too busy for us...any nice villages 3 to 4 miles away that spring to mind???

Afraid I can't really help with this but have you considered posting the same question on our sister site local.mumsnet.com/oxford as Headington falls within the domains of Oxford and you might get more replies there!
