I am a Mum working on a Olympic Legacy project called Take 12 www.take12.org that is designed for people of all ages and abilities to have fun, get fit and explore their local area.
You can complete the Take 12+ Challenge EITHER by covering a distance of 12km OR do by doing 12 hours of activity in a 12 week period. Or challenge yourself to see how many km or how many hours you can do in a 12 week period.
Activities include walking, running, cycling, wheelchair, swimming, visiting the gym, dance class etc. Visit www.take12.org/boroughs/greenwich to see suggested walking/ running/ cycling routes & sports venues in your Borough.
For a limited period only participants who register can win a pair of tickets for a bus tour of the Olympic Park on Friday 8th Feb 9.30am (no children under 8yrs - sorry). Ballot closes at 5.30pm Tuesday 5th Feb winners announced Wed 6th Feb.
