Dear mumsnet users,

Tapestry Choir is a female- voice ensemble, based in Reading and the surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for more singers to join us- we are an intimate group of 14 and are hoping to expand this year. We perform a wide range of music, from Renaissance motets to 20th Century anthems, as well as popular music, folk songs and spirituals. We meet on Tuesday mornings in Charvil Village Hall (a few miles east of Reading on the A4) between 10.45 and 12.15 in term times, and usually perform 3 concerts each year. We like to challenge ourselves with repertoire but have fun doing it!

As we meet during the day in term-time, (and already have some mums amongst us!) we thought that mumsnet might be the place to find like-minded singers who are free on weekdays. So we would love to hear from you- e-mail [email protected] if you are interested! Or have a look on our website for more information - www.tapestrychoir.co.uk.

We hope to hear from you soon! We are particularly low on altos at the moment, but would like to hear from all voice parts.

Best wishes and thanks for reading,
Sarah
