Anyone here with primary school aged children living in Saffron Walden (or close by)

We're looking to move out of London over the next few months, and have pinpointed Saffron Walden as being ideal.

I've got a 4yo DD who is in reception; there seem to be a few primaries listed, all with reasonable ofsted reports, but they only tell you so much (and in some cases were inspected years ago).

Anyone got any experience of any of them? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi there,
Great
Chesterford is said to be one of the most academically demandingschools in the area. Ours are in Clavering, which had a great ofsted report, but I am.unimpressed...

Hiya, we've moved here from London, went just south of SWalden and chose Great Easton for my DD. The schools here are very small so affected by their surrounding area, we found this village is charming and the school very good. New head teacher has invigorated it this year too.
