We went to a pretty decent italian in the lanes last weekend, but can't remember the name of it. Very reasonably priced.

Also very nice vietnamese but that could not be to everyone's taste.

I like the food in Donatellos, but they were horrible to me on my pre-baby meals. So am hesitant to promote their business

Piccalo's is good. We've been to The Chilli Pickle for a few of the MN Brighton meet ups. Terre a terre is superb. Moshi Moshi if you like sushi. Las Iguanas. Hotel du Vin if you're feeling flash

Ole Ole - great food, fantastic atmosphere, especially for groups. The croquettes are amazing. Mmmm.... think another trip is necessary!

Other than that, Cote sometimes does set menus/offers. As does Strada?
