Any planned Manchester drinks/meet ups?

Ok, we've agreed a place, drinks, no kids, what about the all important date?

Oh and how will we recognise each other? Rose, badge, glo stick??

To be fair, in Knott bar, we'll be the women (it's a CAMRA pub, largely men of a certain age, or couples)

What's a CAMRA pub? Certain age men, reality acts??

So..shall we go for Thursdays/ Fridays in late September and early October? How about:

27th/28th September
4th/ 5th October

Knott is the bar of choice with its lovely clientele?

Ok. Knott Bar is good. No idea what CAMRA is but we will probably be the only women.

CAMRA is the "campaign for real ale" , hence the men of a certain age.
Fri/sat is better for me as I don't usually stay out late on a school night.

I can do any of those dates suggested and I did wonder what CAMRA meant!

choceyes I was terrified before my first meet-up. I've been to two. One with and one without dcs.

I was convinced everyone would be more than me iykwim. Everyone was actually lovely. I don't think I would have gone without InMySpareTime to hold my hand. It was a fab evening though. :)
