Can I give a little plug for our show at The Harlequin theatre, Redhill this week.
It's Peter Pan - The Musical, performed by the Young East Surrey Operatic Society. All the performers are aged 8-21 and it's truly a fantastic and inspirational production for children and families.
It's not a panto - but proper musical theatre instead, more closely based on the famous story by J.M. Barrie.
My youngest is in it, and I've been blown away by what I've seen of the standard of performance (several of the older children have performed in regional & national productions before, including the West End).
If you're getting bored of the olympics, or just fancy a change, it's a wonderful alternative!
