mum new to the area: Watford Road / King Harry Lane

We have recently moved here with our daughter who is nearly three and a four month old baby boy.
Would enjoy a coffee / chat / play in the park with any other local mums.
Still getting to grips with life outside of central London!

On Friday mornings (10 - 11.30), there is a lovely toddler group at St Stephens Church (opposite the King Harry pub). The mums there are all very friendly

We liked abbeytots at the cathedral, think it was Tuesday's (it has been a while)

Have you contacted your local children's centre? They will have a list of all the classes and toddler groups near you....the one in church crescent is very helpful....

We like baby rhyme time at the library on tuesdays at 11am, I have also been advised to join the nct yahoo st albans group, am yet to do it but if you google it, it should come up, that's an online support/information group as far as I understand it..

There seems to be so many lovely groups and classes here, you could go to a couple a day and still not fit them all in.......
