Private tuition for 12 year old struggling with writing in Cambridge?

My DS is 12 and has always struggled with writing - awful handwriting, poor use of capital letters, spelling, etc. Writing is a chore (though he's a competant and avid reader). It's clearly holding him back at secondary school so I'm thinking of getting him some private tuition, particularly to try and get the handwriting a bit easier for him. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good tutor? Either one that would come to our house or in Queen Ediths area where he could get to after school one day.

I know someone who might be interested - send me a PM with contact details and I will pass it one to her

I don't have personal experience of her tutoring - although I think it would be good - but I know she does some and could provide references
re handwriting there are a few threads on the primary school board that might be worth a read for things you could do

try tutormykids.co.uk
Rachel Law she runs it very good company who come and meet you and your child get a feel for the right kind of tutor who are all checked and crb checked. We got our tutor and sadly when she needed to leave Rachel was very quick and professional at finding a replacement. Our tutor comes to the house and all the paperwork/payment /complaints etc are taken care of by Rachel.
Very good service and after a few months she came out and sat in on the end of the session to see how our son was progressing, and we all had a chat after :)
Highly recommended!
