Rush-hour seats on Ashford to Charing X (via Tonbridge) trains

We're hoping to move to Marden, and my DH is having a last-minute panic about commuting. Will he get a seat on the early morning train (about 7.30) to Charing Cross if he gets on at Marden? The train then goes to Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks etc so if anyone knows if there are still seats at these stations, then that will reassure him further! Thanks in advance

The OH catches the train from Tonbridge and can usually get a seat. By the time it reaches Sevenoaks it's jam-packed, though.

Much less busy than it used to be due to all the layoffs in the City.
