Danger in the bath from scalding or hitting head on the taps for 2-7 year olds

Has any one had any incidents of this? How do you prevent it?

In the case of very small children, you stay with the child and don't let them bugger about with taps. If you're worried about them slipping and hitting their heads, you can cushion the taps with a towel.

Not sure why you put this in Ipswich local though, the advice remains the same wherever you are!
