Looking for a lovely restaurant within an easy walk of the NEC?

Hi all, I'm off to gardeners world live this weekend with my mum. Can anyone suggest a nice restaurant within an easy walk of the NEC? Pizza Express would be fine if need be, but ideally I'm hoping for something a bit smaller and independent, maybe tapas, or italian or something similar?

There is nothing at all within walking distance. You would be best to go somewhere afterwards. I would recommend The Bull in Meriden.

I'm afraid LadyKooKoo is right, there is virtually nothing in the vicinity. The area around the NEC is mostly airport and related industry. You would definitely have to get a taxi/bus/train to find a nice place to eat, I'm afraid.

Ditto the others, you can't walk anywhere from the nec.
