Gosh - Just heard the news about the added security at some schools after possible abduction attempts.

We had an email from DD's school a few days ago about a man lurking around outside Maple Infants and another one outside Surbiton High School but on the news it was 3 other schools.

Sounds very scary and I hope all our little ones stay safe. We haven't even spoken to DD about stranger danger.

Is anyone else worried about this. I'm feeling really nervous!

I read this yesterday and live nearby - my DD isn't at school yet but it is rather alarming. Police seem to be taking it seriously and increasing patrols, police at school gates etc which is reassuring I guess.

My friend has a dd at Grand Avenue so have been receiving info from her. Its scary, ds is due to start reception next year but is at pre-school at the moment. I guess everywhere must have stepped up its security by now?
