Good kids' hairdresser in Cardiff anyone?

After lots of ringing around seems lots of haidressers don't cut children's hair, or they charge adult rates if they do. Anyone got any recommendations for places that do good kids' cuts for reasonable rates? (ie not £35 a go!!) Ta

Lots of people have told me that Moore Bros Barbers on Clifton Street are very good with kids and iirc it costs about £6 ish. Haven't tried them because I just take the clippers to my boys Grin

GoosePimple100 · 12/05/2012 11:46

ok ta i'm not quite brave enough to get the clippers out!!

I forgot to mention I am mobile (Cutz 2 Go)

Both my local hairdressers in the places I have lived since having DD have done it for about £5 a time I think - only had it done twice, once in each, as have let it grow, and very simple cuts, so can't really comment on how good. Not specifically children't hairdressers, but happy to do it: Chocolate in Tongwynlais and Zeus in St Mellons.

Ds goes to Moore bros. Always looks fab.

He has also had it cut in Zeus st mellons but that was going back a few years ago.

I did recommend somewhere earlier in the month but they took it down for some reason!!!! Funky little chickens in rumney is great and charges 8.00 for a trim. It's a tailor made children's hairdressers that I'm sure other mums would like to here about.

brehinesybanedgoffi · 14/04/2013 18:48

They took it down because your post wasnt a recomendation more of an advert and advertising on mumsnet costs.
hth

Angelica500 · 15/04/2013 18:34

What qualifies as an advert? I thought I was just being helpful to other mums with little girls.

brehinesybanedgoffi · 15/04/2013 19:38

why dont you ask mnhq

Angelica500 · 15/04/2013 22:18

I did, they haven't replied. Thanks anyway.

We took them to Bertie and Belle in Keynsham Bristol. Its a bit of a trek from Cardiff but well worth it they were great
