New to area and in search of dance classes and swimming lessons

Hi. I am moving to Shalford in July and have three under 5's. Keen to look for a good modern dance class for my 5 year old daughter and swimming lessons for her and her 3 year old brother. Any advice appreciated.

For swimming try The spectrum, Guildford Sports Park or the pool at Broadwater or maybe Cranleigh? There maybe others. However you will probably be looking for a summer holiday course to start with. I'd also chat to people at the playground to find our local recommendations for September.

For modern dance, try Joanna School of Dance (v friendly, family run school) or Italia Conti (seem a bit stricter with children).

Hello, Www.juliesswimschool.com is an excellent swim school, small friendly classes and Julie is really lovely, she's a really good teacher and all the teachers at the school are excellent. She teaches at box grove school and cranmore school.
