Moving to Tonbridge/Sevenoaks area. Where to give birth

We are looking to rent a property and I'm also really keen to know where people think is the best place to give birth. I'm a bit apprehensive as I don't know the area at all well. Any help would be great!

Pembury. Brand new hospital, single rooms, flat screen TV, care at old Pembury was great - but conditions cramped. Now it is all purpose built and just down the A21 -10min from Tonbridge, probably 20 from 7oaks. No one wants to be discharged. Almost worth getting pregnant for again.

Yes Pembury, I had dd there a year ago when it was just opening and had issues which I think were just teething problems, and nothing to do with the facilities just not enough staff as they hadn't properly opened the dept then. Facilities were great though - birthing rooms on delivery suite were great. Only thing I'd advice is I was told not to bring a birthing ball as they had them at the hospital but they didn't have enough and when I got to borrow one it would be taken away from me a few hours later for someone else, also it was really flat Hmm. I had my own ensuite room on ante and post natal (and obv delivery suite). bring your own food though - the hosp food was awful

Depending on where you're living have a look at the brand new Maidstone Birthing Centre and also Crowborough Birthing Centre - wonderful care at both

Definitely Pembury - we did our 'visit' 2 weeks ago (I'm 37 weeks), staff were nice and it was clean! XX
