Type 1 Diabetes is a chronic life-threatening condition for which there is no cure. The only treatment is daily multiple injections or pump infusions of insulin.
Type 1 diabetes is caused by a problem with the immune system. It is not linked to lifestyle factors and changes to diet or exercise habits can not prevent or cure it. Only research will find the cure.
