Where to eat and take young DCs near to Cutteslowe & Sunnymeade Park

Hi there, I'm meeting up with a friend during half-term halfway between where she and I live, and we've come up with Cutteslowe & Sunnymead Park as a good half-way point. We each have a 3 and 1 yr old, and so the park will be good for an hour or so, (weather permitting), but we'd need to be able to get indoors at some point too - preferably to eat! Do any of you please know a good place to eat/go?

Thank you in advance :)

You could try barefoot books in Summertown. It has a nice cafe, is good for kids and only a short drive from the park.

If you need a backup plan in case of bad weather, you might ring Kidlington & Gosford Sports Centre and find out about their soft play.

Or there is Ferry Leisure Centre in Summertown for either swimming or I think they do a bouncy castle / soft play session a couple of times a week in the school holidays.

Barefoot Books are probably your best option but their cafe is beyond over-priced
