Has anyone used Sweeny hairdressers on Royal Hill?

What did you think? Should I trust them with my hair dye (and occasional cut) rather than trekking into central london? Anyone in particular I should use? Last question - are they v. pricey?

I looked at them and (IMHO) they were pricey - check their website.
I would recommend Beyond The Fringe in Eltham High STreet - Alesha does my hair and she's excellent, listens to what you want and actually does it. She only works Tues and Sat (cos she has a baby :) )

I have used them for over a year now and have had very good experience. There is a hairdresser called Kai and he is very considered, careful and listens well. My hair has gone from long to short and hi-lights and he has been good at all styles. Takes a bit of time - not as 'chair turning' as a central salon - and not cheap given it is a local business but very friendly and always fit me in no matter how much short notice I give. Better than any I have tried in Blackheath. I also find the pace quite relaxing given we all rush around at other times.

If you don't mind going up to Blackheath, Charmaine at the Fresh Aveda salon is the best hairdresser I've ever had.
