I hope you do not consider my post inappropriate, I'm very sorry if I'm breaching the Mumsnet netiquette, but this is not a commercial ad and I thought some of you might be interested in taking part in a study I'm conducting at the Uni of Manchester.

The purpose of the study is to find out what helps children to read. We are looking for children between 18 - 30 months to take part in an EEG experiment investigating language development.

If you and your child would like to take part in the study and:
. your child is between 18-30 months (1.5- 2.5 years)
. English is the only language spoken in your household
. Your child does not have very sensitive skin, skin allergies or
eczema
. Your child does not have any neurological conditions
