recommendations for kid's hairdressers

The time has definately come for my 2 year old DD to have her mop cut properly. Does anyone have any recommendations of hairdressers that could manage a toddler haircut?! I have seen a children's hairdresser at a softplay in harrogate but would prefer to stay in York. Thanks

Whereabouts are you? Laurie at Glen and Julio's on Bishopthorpe Road is an amazing kid's hairdresser - mine has been going since she was about 10 months old (she has a lot of hair) and Laurie is great at hacking away while she flails about. It's a bit of a mad hairdressers generally (lots of china dolls and small dogs) but don't let that put you off. And she only charges around a fiver.

Hi, I would highly recommend Melissa at PREEN Naburn 659779, she does loads of the children from the village school including mine and is really lovely and a great hairdresser. Its a small intimate but very modern salon so if there are a few tears you wont feel concerned.
