So is Renfrewshire the only council closing schools at lunchtime tomorrow 8/12/11?

Status update "We are advising parents that they can choose not to send their children to school on Thursday 8 December because of the forecast high winds. As previously advised, Renfrewshire schools will remain open until 1pm. School transport will still operate to help parents who won't have time to make alternative arrangements. Schools will also operate a 'managed wind down' during the morning where pupils will be able to be collected or leave if they are going to a safe location."

I think most councils have closed all schools and nurseries on advice from the government

I've just checked Glasgow's website and it looks like all the schools are closed here today too.
