Degree student wants to know what YOU want(Ideas on maternity clothing and wellbeing)

Do you find it hard to buy maternity clothing? Do you prefer to just get hand-me-downs from friends?

Would you be more inclined to buy maternity clothes if you could return them in exchange for a voucher off something i.e. massage/manicure...something that that benefits YOU?

The returned items could then be bought at a lower price by other mums.

Would you be available to give your feelings and opinions during a focus group?

I want to know what YOU want

I am currently in my final year of university and I'm looking to gather some research regarding maternity-wear for my thesis module. I will give you a bit of background on me and the course i am studying so that you can put it into context. Basically, i study Fashion Design with Marketing at the university of East London and my marketing module involves 'starting up a business'. My market research has lead me to Guildford where I will be starting up a maternity clothing company which benifits pregnant women. In order to further my research I need to speak to pregnant women/new mothers in order to gain a better insight into how you feel and what you think whilst shopping for maternity clothing.
My rsearch has so far enabled me to get into the mind-set of pregnant women which has supported my ideas in the business offering something back to the mother during such a life changing time, however I would like to develop my business ideas more accurately and therefore need you!

As well as feedback on this forum, I would hugely appreciate it if i could get 3-6 volunteers and arrange a little focus group somewhere in Surrey. Maybe you have friends who are pregnant, or new-mums that you could recommend. It would be a very casual, informal chat - tea and treats provided!

If you want to share your thoughts via email, please email me on [email protected]
Thanks!
