Hi ya,

I've just moved to St Neots, Eaton Ford from norfolk and don't know a sole. it's my husband and me, my just turned 3 yr old son and 6 month old daughter. I'm feeling a bit lonely and not sure how to meet people. If anybody is ever free for a trip to the park or could point me in the right direction for things in the area I'd love to meet a friendly face or two.

Thank you :)

Hello! I don't live in St Neots but I have a few friends that do so I spend a bit of time there. I know Eaton Ford. There's a lovely children's centre at the primary school on Bushmead Road, do you know it? There's always lots on there. I go to LLL meetings there, meeting dates are here if you're interested. There's always plenty of other things on too, it's quite a big centre. The website with timetable is here.

I have 2 DDs, one just turned 3 and one 7 months so similar ages to your DCs. If you ever want to meet up then I'm up for it, I'm planning on a couple of trips to Paxton Pits nature reserve before the weather starts getting really crappy.

Hi EauRouge,
Thank you for all the info, I went to the children's centre today to pick up all their programmes and they do look really good. We.re still getting settled in at the moment with the new house so hopefully bump into you there some time in the future ! :)
Thanks again

Hi I know this mesage is old but you will have gone through what we are about to go through when we move to eaton socon / ford in August this year. Hows it been, everyone as friendly as they appear to be, every time we visit from Norfolk we always feel that the place on the whole has a friendly atmosphere and our son age nearly 5 loves Leos. Great to hear from someone who has been through what we are about to go through especially as we are older and making friends is harder than when you are younger (not that we are passed it by any means - not quite ready for tartan knee blanket, pipe and slippers!)
