Taste of Edinburgh food festival?

did anyone go last year? Was it ant good?

We go every year. TBH last year I thought the Foodies Festival was better as they had great bands and it was sunny which always helps.
There doesn't seem to be as many restaurants participating this year, but good quality ones anyway and glad its back at the Meadows as a lot quicker for us to get to.
I like it as you get to try small helpings from restaurants that we can't usually justify going to unless on a special night out, plus we always get confused by the crown system ( you have to change your money into crowns) and have to spend it all on alcohol in the last half hour.

If you go onto 5pm.co.uk then you can get tickets for £5.00, definitely worth a punt at that price.
