So the fire station site is going to have 99 flats on, and next to the Elizabeth Way bridge there are going to be 195 flats/townhouses.
Even if only one in three of these is occupied by a family with children, that's an extra 100 children who are going to need school places. If they're evenly spread across the age groups, that's still 10 extra in each year, presumably all going to the same catchment school. Without wanting to sound all Cambridge Evening News about it, I wonder if this has been taken into account by the planners at the council to make provision for them? Does anybody know anything?
