Battersea Adventure Playground - Wandworth's plans to charge children for entry

I heard on the news this morning that Wandsworth council is planning to charge children £2.50 to use the adventure playground attached to the One O'Clock Club in Battersea Park.

This playground is a fantastic resource. If you have small children (under 5) you may not yet have experienced this space, but by the time your kids are over 7 or 8 they will have outgrown Clapham Common and the small playground in Battersea. The Adventure Playground offers a fantastic space for kids to run off steam, challenge themselves and have great fun in a safe environment.

If like me, you feel that play in parks should be free, please go to the link below and follow the links to "Pay to Play" and sign the petition against this.

Many thanks

It's a bloody disgrace, and to charge children EVERY TIME they use the facility too, outrageous!!! Have signed the petition!
