Thanks, Magpie. Will it run every Sunday or just on the 15th?

ALTRINCHAM?S monthly Vintage Market takes place next Sunday - 20th November from 11am to 3.30pm.

Spread over two sites - the main covered market on Greenwood Street market, and the lower market on the corner of Shaw Road (opposite the side entrance of Marks & Spencer's) - this month there are more than 65 stalls selling everything from vintage clothing and homewares to locally-produced crafts and foodstuffs. There's a pop-up tearoom selling homemade cakes, biscuits, savoury snacks and, now the weather's getting chillier, mulled wine, and live music from the Twisted Vinyl DJs and buskers.

Says organiser Gail Titchener: 'It's brilliant to see the market place come alive. I've such positive feedback from people, all of whom have said how nice it is to see the market really busy again.'

'The local support has been brilliant - helped no doubt by our recent mentions in The Sunday Times and Cheshire Life magazine. It's really encouraging to see so many people coming out for a browse and with Christmas just around the corner it's a great place to pick up original and unusual gifts.'

The market takes place every third Sunday of the month and admission is free.
