What Proof Of Address do you have to Give to a Nursery

Hi,

I live in Haringey and am getting worried about council run nurserys. I live in Highgate right on the Islington border and there seems to be little in my area.

My parents live in Islington and I am wondering whether I give their address when I join the waiting list for Islington nurserys? What proof of address will I need if I get a place? I know you can join the waiting list if you live out of the borough but are very low priority.

Any ideas?

I had to give utility bill (with DH's or my name on it), Council Tax letter (ditto), certificate of birth plus a few others that I can't remember. It was obvious from the birth cert that DH and I were her legal guardians and obvious from the utility and Council Tax bills that we lived at the address.

But they didn't give us a place on the waiting list until they had all these proofs of ID and residency.
