Good place for group of adults and kids to meet up for lunch?

Looking for somewhere with good food for 8 adults and 6 kids for a weekend lunch. Ideally want somewhere the kids could run about a but and play after so the adults can catch up.

Somewhere out of town would be fine.

Anyone know somewhere that would fit the bill?

We went to the East Links Family Park near Dunbar on Sunday and it is really well setup for all ages. You can take your own picnic lunch, or buy food there. So much to do to wear them out :) Needs to be good weather though.

Craigies Farm on the way to the bridge would be great. You can ring ahead and choose your roast on a sunday. The food is lovely and great cakes! The cafe room is big and bright and the kids can play outside in full view. Walk round the farm afterwards.

I dont work for them I was there today to feed the lambs! They have a website and a facebook page. Gets busy so give them a ring.

Looks great! New to the Edinburgh so yet to discover all of this!

Other place I thought of was the new restaurant at the Botanics. Prices ok and good for a post lunch walk. Can't do date we want as 2 other big bookings but worth remembering about for future!
