Hi- Possibly relocating to York,( a much- wanted move as both from the north)and would like to live in city center.Have DS in Y5 and DD in Y1. Where do children go to secondary? And if oversubscribed which schools do they tend to end up with at both primary and secondary.Any help much appreciated-thanks in advance.

This thread came up high on google search today so I wanted to give you my feedback of the school in 2013 in case you are looking around to send your child here. Manor don't address bad behaviour. They allow low standards of social interactions between pupils. They have new catchment areas and can't cope with their challenging behaviours( that's the PC phrase isn't it?) 2012 gcse results were 66% of students achieving 5 passes A to C. This review is based on my childs experience in yr7 and the comments of an ex pupil who's younger sister graduated in 2012. We've pulled our child out. Oh and the ticket fees for the performances are extortionate.
