Hi!

I am moving to Dyke Road in Brighton shortly, i have 2 sons aged 2.5 and 6 months. Can anyone give me some tips on playgroups, and things to do with the little ones in the area.

Many thanks!

i can't, but im sure someone will be along soon, however i did want to tell you that there is a regular group of mumsnetters who meet for the drinking of wine and eating of good foog - we meet about 4 times a year - usually childfree so watch out for us on the meet up threads and do come along.

found this on google

i know that there are some brightonian mums who meet with kids too

The church down Dyke Road- Church of the Good Shephard has a toddler group on a Tuesday afternoon. And if you are prepared to go right to the end of the road (South) to St Nicholas's Church, they have a very popular toddler group on a Tuesday morning. Where are you moving from? Are you new to Brighton or just this end?

Thanks very much for the info, the Good Shephard church is pretty close to us so that will be very useful. We will be totally new to Brighton, heading down from London for some fresh air!

Oh well you will not be short of things to do- there are about a million baby groups in Brighton! I live very close to the Church too so if you fancy a meet up let me know- I have a DS 3andabit and DD 1yo. I will save this thread so you can write me a message here as and when you need to Smile
