Family friendly carvery or similar in Brighton area

We will be coming to Brighton next month to meet up with family and are looking for somewhere that does nice food, relaxed atmosphere and not in town so we can park/go for a walk afterwards.

Can you think if anywhere that fits the bill? Oh, and not too £££ either!

Well, Crown Carveries (see internet) at Saltdean and Withdean are ridiculously cheap and cheerful. Not top quality, I have to add, but ok for the price...

If you are in Saltdean, you can pop to the beach afterwards
