We are moving into a house in Bath in need of renovation. We have come from London so don't know any local decent tradespeople.

We need LOTS of work doing.

If you have anyone you can recommend please please post them below.

Picter and Berry based in Sherston. (North of Bath). Chris Berry has years of experience. They have done lots of work for me over the years and it has always been a quality job. eg they made and fitted my kitchen in Chesnut wood and beech. They fitted a new oak floor, knocked rooms together, new extension, new windows in keeping with our cottage (previous were hideous plastic)

Hello Thandeka! Where are you moving to in Bath?

I can recommend a plumber and a painter

MogTheForgetfulCat · 22/12/2010 23:03

I can recommend a plasterer. Let me know if that's of interest.

Hi Thandeka,

We used Bath City Renovations website here for some serious work on a large period property last year. They were absolutely brilliant and did a fantastic job. They are not the cheapest, but I cannot recommend them more highly (especially in the light of a couple of subsequent disasters with cowboy operators.) Rory the owner is lovely!

Where are you moving to? We are near Bear Flat on the South side of the city.
