Would like to meet Asian/Black/mixed race kids

We live in Brixton with our 2 year old. My husband is of Caribbean descent and I'm Asian. Would like to meet other mums in the area with similar age kids and backgrounds as I really want to make sure our little one connects with both sides of his culture. Both of us come from liberal backgrounds and are interested in the arts.

Hi - we are probably not what you are looking for, exactly, but I have sympathy as a fellow traveller. I am white of secular Jewish descent & my partner is Nigerian. Our son is 3. We live in Kennington.
What particularly depresses me at the moment is the effective racial segregation in many schools around here - white kids go private, while the state schools, including those with great reputations, are virtually 100% black.
So wherever my son goes to school, he'll be an outsider.
