Edinburgh people - anyone been to the seabird centre at North Berwick?

we are thinking of going tomorrow with ds (nearly 4) and one year old dd - just wondering if it will have enough to hold ds's attention really?! He is quite good at concentrating on things he is interested in but is a little boy after all...
My dh is quite into bird type stuff and ds is getting interested..

what are the castles called?

Dirleton Castle is good too, and there used to be a nice play area beside it. (There may still be - I've not been for years).

It might be worth looking at the seabird website before you go - they often have craft sessions for younger children.

There's a decent little play area in the Lodge grounds too.

I grew up in NB - nice town although my mum used to call it a middle-class ghetto .
