Job Situation in Colchester atm? & Nannying jobs?

How is the job situation in Coclhester at the moment? I may have to move somewhere between November-January for at least 6 months, possibly more. I know that I can get dirt cheap flats in Colchester, but am not sure about jobs!

So, how is the job situation? I've been looking online and there's the usual jobs about which is okay but are people really going for them?

Also, it doesn't look like things are good in the nannying/childcare department at the moment? Are people looking for nannies in general? I'm looking at other childcare options too and will go with any job (in any sector!) that'll take me to be honest! But I'd like to work with kids for a little while ideally Grin

Starlight: Thanks for replying! I can't CAT but that really is an option I wouldn't mind looking into! I was looking at ABA Tutoring before and love the look and idea of it.

Never thought about Enfield, I'll look into it and see what's available for my other half, is the job situ okay there? Are flats cheap-ish and would we be able to save money there?

We're trying to decide between staying in seasonal work or getting a place to save money.
