What a wash out :( The kids and I wrote a huge list at the stat of the summer of all the things we wanted to do we had 60% outdoor and 40%indoor - hahaha we have only managed a few of the outdoor ones.

Had so many visions of days in the park, with picnics and football with friends.

I used more suncream in the weeks before school broke up than I have in the holidays.

Absolutely! May and June were so lovely. But we did manage a great afternoon in Pollok Park yesterday. It always seems to brighten up just as we get home for tea!

It's been awful hasn't it! Really disappointing, hardly done anything outdoors this summer, although we had a really nice day on Sunday at the Glasgow Show.

It even rained for most of our holiday too, had 4 or 5 sunny days out of 14 Angry although at least it was roasting hot rain...like being in a shower really Grin

ah yes but this is what always happens, i dont know why weegies think that summer comes in july. it's may and late august/sept that bring sunshine. just think exams and re-sits...

My friend and I were saying that yesterday Aitch. Schools in Glasgow should have 3 weeks in May off, then back for a few weeks, then the other 4 weeks off in late august/early sept!

I think it could work! Grin
